If you're in the mood for a change from Indian cuisine and want to eat well, the 1st Gate restaurant is the place to come. The establishment serves delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, of course, but also pasta cooked al dente, bruschette e tutti quanti... The pleasure can be extended with a glass of Italian wine. The terrace, as romantic as it gets, would almost make you think you were in a trattoria deep in Apulia, were it not for the breathtaking view of the Jaisalmer fort. A very good restaurant in town.
