A lake surrounded by temples and sanctuaries, popular with couples who come for a boat ride and to watch the sunset

In the past, the lake supplied the city with water. It is surrounded by temples and shrines. According to the legend, a rich courtesan named Tila had the Tila ki Pol gate built on the way to the lake. Jealous of this benefactress, the princesses of the palace wanted to destroy the building. But to prevent its demolition, Tila transformed the upper part of the gate into a temple dedicated to Krishna. The place is very popular at sunset with couples of lovers who come to take a boat ride, but it is more pleasant in the morning.
