VYAS CHHATRI
A group of chhatris, a cremation ground dedicated to the city's Brahmins, where each chhatri is a cenotaph in memory of a deceased person
This complex of chhatris is still a cremation ground for the city's brahmins. The site should not be confused with Bada Bagh, located several kilometers from the city and the cremation ground of the royal family. Each chhatri is a cenotaph erected in memory of a deceased person. It is also known to offer one of the best views of Jaisalmer and its fort at sunset. The Golden City then ignites and takes on pink hues. For more tranquility, and if you appreciate the majesty of the cenotaphs, it is better to come during the day.

Il est tout de meme interessant de s'y promener pour pouvoir imaginer les crémations qui se déroulent encore régulierement sur ce lieu
Les stèle sont des monuments du souvenir des defunt, mais rien n'y est concervé sur place ...
