GAJNER WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Nature reserve for a breath of fresh air and greenery in the middle of the desert, with a lake bordered by a dense forest full of animals
Little frequented by tourists, this natural reserve offers a pleasant breath of oxygen and greenery in the middle of the desert. The lake of Gajner is surrounded by a dense forest which shelters numerous animal and vegetable species. It is necessary to count two hours of walk to make the turn of it. The most common species are the wild boar, the axis deer, the nilgaur, the antelope cervicapre, the Indian gazelle or the desert fox. In winter, you will see many birds.
