The Valiant Hotel can be spotted from afar with its illuminated sign on the roof. The reception is located on the seventh floor, with elevator. A bit old-fashioned and poorly lit, it suggests the worst. But no, the rooms are bright, spacious with marble floors, TV and city views. The bathrooms are shining with cleanliness. Only the bedding, a bit thin and hard, could use a makeover. 24-hour occupancy system and friendly, helpful staff who speak good English. For this price, you won't find better in Vadodara.
