BARODA MUSEUM (VADODARA MUSEUM)
A museum exhibiting a collection of Jain sculptures and Asian prints, the large Sayaji Park invites you to take a pleasant stroll.
Built in 1894 on the model of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Vadodara Museum contains a fine collection of Jain sculptures and Asian prints. The gallery houses Mughal miniatures and paintings. The large Sayaji Park (Sayaji Baug), founded in the same year by Gaekwad, is home to nearly a hundred species of trees and is a pleasant walk. However, you can skip the visit to the nearby zoo.
