JUNAGADH MUSEUM - DARBAR HALL
Museum in the building where the nawabs of Junagadh held their assemblies, featuring relics from the great era of the maharajas.
This museum, founded in 1947, is located in the building where the nawabs of Junagadh held their assemblies and gathered their court. The building is beautiful with its pink walls and domes. The museum displays relics from the great era of the maharajas: armors, paintings, thrones, palanquins, howdah (the pod attached to the elephants), furniture, carpets and a gallery of old photos, including the last prince. A quick but very interesting visit.
