A museum erected in 1950 in homage to Mahatma Gandhi around the house where he was born in 1869. The place of his birth is marked on the ground by a swastika. It is possible to visit this large three-story house, dating back more than 200 years. He grew up here until he was 6 years old. The beautiful museum, built like a temple, contains memorabilia, a photo gallery, writings of the great man, and a bookstore. A memorial is located behind the Kirti Mandir.
