Palace built directly on the beach in 1929 with a beautiful view, former summer residence of the son of Shri Khengarji III, maharao of Kutch.

Located 8 km west of the city. Inaugurated in 1929, the Vijay Vilas Palace was the summer residence of the son of Shri Khengarji III, maharao of Kutch. Its particularity is to have been built on the beach, it is a palace with its feet in the sand! The outside has some cachet and has kept a certain charm, certainly outdated. The interior is not very interesting. Decoration and furniture of the time. From the roof, the view is superb. The descendants of the royal family of Kutch reside there since 2001 and it is possible to be lodged there.

An architecture cupcake kind in a fairly well-kept garden, some antique furniture that gives an idea of the decoration of this type of residence. Do not hesitate to go up on the terrace because there is a beautiful view. The place is not very busy and it is pleasant to walk quietly.
