TOMB OF DARYA KHAN
Visit the Red Mausoleum dating from 1526 before going on to the Malik Mughit Mosque, the Hati Mahal and the tomb of Dai-ka-Mahal
This complex is much less interesting than the other monuments but you will quickly discover the tomb of Darya Khan, a red mausoleum dating from 1526, to go to the Malik Mughit mosque which faces a caravanserai. The Hati Mahal, or Elephant Palace, is so called because of the pillars that resemble elephant legs that support the dome. Not far away, on the eastern shore of Sagar Talao Lake, stands the tomb of Dai-ka-Mahal, representative of the Islamic art of the time, and the ruins of an ancient mosque.
