MAJOR TEMPLES
Chandraprabhu Mandir (No. 40). Dedicated to Sitalnath, it is partly built from the rock. The pillars as well as the ceiling are richly ornamented, and ciselures the very aesthetic walls.
Bada Mandir (No. 26). This is the main temple, the one where miracles are performed. It is dedicated to Parsvanath, the 23rd and more popular des. Inside you will discover a large black idol the representative finely executed.
Mendhagiri Mandir (No. 10). It is the oldest of all. It was built in the th century by Garlic Shripal, then king of Achalpur (opposite Paratwada). On the walls are nicely engraved 72 idols representing the 24 tirthankars (holy characters of the jainism).
Temple No. 1. It is highly representative of jaïn architecture. Here you will find two Idols idols. The smallest date of the th century.
