KANHA SAFARIS
Safais by jeep for 6 people to discover Kanha National Park divided into 4 distinct zones: Kisli, Mukki, Sari, Kanha
The entrance to the national park is from Mukki Gate or Kathiya Gate. The park is divided into four distinct zones: Kisli, Mukki, Sari and the Kanha.
The park can be visited by open jeep (Gypsy) of 6 people. Each Gypsy is assigned a paid permit valid for a zone, a time and the people mentioned at the time of booking. For these reasons, it is easiest to ask your hotel to make the reservation. If you are lucky, you will be staying in a hotel at the same time as other tourists. However, it is possible to make your reservation yourself via the Madhya Pradesh Tourist Board's online website. But remember that your hotel knows the area very well and will be able to advise you on the choice of the area according to the time and your access point. Your hotel will also take care of the reservation of a vehicle (if it is not its own). During your safari, you must present yourself at the access point at least half an hour before departure in order to have your permit validated and to be assigned a guide (mandatory). Do not forget your passport for the identity check.
Whatever the season, bring good sunglasses and a hat. In winter (December to February), it can be freezing at night. You'll be glad you brought a hat, gloves, scarf, sweater and a thick fleece. In the summer (April to June), mornings remain cool and a light sweater will not be too much.
