A real little treasure not to be missed. It gathers the pieces found during the archaeological excavations in the surroundings of Nalanda. We learn that apart from teaching grammar, Sanskrit, science and logic, the university of Nalanda was also famous for its school of painting and stone carving. The sculptures made in Nalanda are considered by some experts to be the most remarkable in India. The stone plaques evoking in Sanskrit the renovation of the university are a good example.
