Temple dedicated to Parshwanath, the Tirthankara, a great Jain master, with Sanskrit manuscripts retracing the Jain epic.
Built in 1867 by a jeweler, it is dedicated to Parshwanath, the 23rd Tirthankara, a great Jain master. The complex contains 4 different temples. The style of this cheerful bric-a-brac is a refined mix of Italian kitsch with mirrors, mosaics, and Murano glass. Some miniatures and very precious manuscripts in Sanskrit recount the Jain epic. As in all Jain temples, it is forbidden to enter with leather and to speak. The complex is rather difficult to access but is worth the trip if you have never visited a Jain temple before.
