MAKAIBARI HOMESTAY
Clean, comfortable homestays with welcoming families, opportunity to visit the Makaibari tea factory.
The homestays are all very clean and comfortable. The families are extremely welcoming and will share with you delicious local dishes. The plantation has adopted permaculture and thus the tea plantations coexist with the forest. You can visit the factory of the famous Makaibari tea. Unfortunately the Director's Bungalow, the historic residence of the Banerjee family, was destroyed in a fire in March 2017. The association is managed by Nayan, a very helpful young man. An unforgettable experience, in the middle of nature.
