TIGER HILL
A mountain culminating at 2,585 m, inviting you to admire the sunrise over Kangchenjunga and to catch a glimpse of Everest on a clear day.
Tiger Hill culminates at 2,585 m, 11 km from Darjeeling: from there, you can admire the sunrise over Kangchenjunga (the third highest peak in the world, 8,598 m). In good weather, the lucky ones will see Everest. To enjoy these panoramas, it is necessary to get up at 4 am, dress warmly and then borrow a jeep for an hour. At the top, you can warm up at the VIP Lodge (entrance fee) and have a hot drink. Hordes of Western and Indian tourists (especially!) pass the word and meet at the top of the hill.
