Monument containing the mausoleums of Muhammad Ali Shah, his mother and the nabob's daughter, a mini-replica of the Taj Mahal, etc.

Chhota means "small" in Hindi. Smaller than the Bara Imambara, it is no less impressive. Also known as the Imambara Hussainabad Mubarak, it contains the mausoleums of Muhammad Ali Shah, Mogul of Awadh in 1838, and his mother. The building's interior is remarkably well preserved, with superb chandeliers. Don't miss the mausoleum of the nabob's daughter, begum Asiya, which is a miniature replica of the Taj Mahal. The Hussainabad mosque and treasury building complete the site.
