Nicknamed Martin, Vishal is a native of Varanasi and grew up right next to Manikarnika. He learned French from tourists and during stays in France. He can show you the lesser known corners of the holy city, or help you with the administration in case of problems (theft, etc.). We particularly recommend you to call upon him for the visit and the deciphering of the burning ghat. His rates depend on the service and the time spent. Martin is a certified guide by the Ministry of Tourism.

Dès les présentations, j'ai su que je n'avais pas affaire à un guide comme les autres... Tout de suite, Martin m'est apparu comme un homme drôle, facile d'accès - sans parler de son très grand professionnalisme - et j'ai très vite compris qu'il était un oiseau rare.
Si vous passez par Varanasi, appelez Martin, il mettra, pour vous, et pour votre plus grand plaisir, en lumière les mystères de cette cité magique avec brio, et vous repartirai sans nul doute avec un ami au coeur de la ville sainte.
Martin vous permet de passer outre les mystères des burning ghats et de Varanasi, avec une précision qu'il est rare de trouver avec les nombreux guides qui viendront vous alpaguer.
Je l'ai rencontré lors de ma première venue en Inde il y a 4 ans, puis revu cette année avec plaisir.

Martin was my fixer throughout the duration of the shooting. I contacted it upstream via Facebook, then by phone. It determined my request perfectly and, on my arrival, everything has been fixed.
Thanks to him, I could turn of superb scenes that are, in theory, very complicated to realise right in the heart of this holy place. Turning has shown to be a game of child thanks to Martin who knows the city like the back of his hand and can speak to the good people.
Martin helped me for my film, but it can suffice make you discover the city that saw it being born with passion. Believe me, this small catch knows it! And there is extremely to learn on one of the stranger place from planet: Varanasi!
