Organization accommodating pilgrims in 40 rooms with basic comforts for 6 people each
This organization was founded in 1891 by a Sri Lankan monk who wanted to spread Buddhism in India. Eleven monks live here and welcome visiting pilgrims with cordiality. The 40 dharamasala (pilgrim rooms) offer basic comfort, with an average of six people per room. Upon arrival, ask for the Sri Lankan monk Seelawansha; he is the one who takes care of the reservation of the rooms. The clientele is mainly Indian.
