Located away from the hustle and bustle, on a small, bucolic path through apple trees, this establishment is an option for budget travelers in Gangotri. The rooms have no heating but thick blankets. The restaurant serves good food. We regret that the reception is so impersonal, but this is often the case with hotels run by the state government (GMNV is the acronym for Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam). Located near the sacred Surya Kund and Gauri Kund tanks.
