HAMIRA LUX HOMESTAY
Lutyens-style residence with grounds featuring ponds, pavilions and lawns, furnished rooms, swimming pool and spa
In the 1950s, the maharaja of Kapurthala and LP Jaiswal founded a distillery that would become the largest in the country. Jagatjit Singh provided the company with 120 hectares of land in Hamira. A part of the land was used for the distillery while the Jaiswal family built a magnificent house, inspired by the Lutyens style, on the other part. The park is inspired by Mughal gardens, with ponds, pavilions and vast lawns. Each room is carefully furnished. The house also has a swimming pool and a spa.
