WILDLIFE INFORMATION CENTRE
Center along the Beas River where you can discover the history of Manali's three forest parks, with the Manali Nature Park at the rear.
Step inside this center along the Beas River to learn about the history of the city's three forest parks. In 1885, Mr. Johnson purchased several acres of land for a small fee to plant exotic trees from England, Afghanistan, Austria and China. In 1902, another area, the Manali Nature Park behind the center, was forested and in 1935, the road connecting New Manali to Old Manali was lined with conifers.
