CHONOR HOUSE
Anglo-Tibetan-style hotel with rooms decorated with imaginative names and a restaurant overlooking a verdant courtyard.
A favorite! This colorful Anglo-Tibetan style hotel is managed by the Norbulingka Institute. All profits are donated to the preservation of Tibetan culture. The rooms do not have numbers but names that arouse the imagination: Nomad, Mythical Creatures or Birds of Tibet. Each of them is unique, very well decorated: beautiful frescos, carpets with Tibetan landscapes and teak furniture. The restaurant opens onto a green courtyard. An ideal place to immerse yourself in the Tibetan atmosphere of McLeod Ganj.
