This center is located between Dharamsala and McLeod Ganj. Those interested in Tibetan medicine(amchi) and astrology should not miss the institute and museum dedicated to these practices. The institute was founded to perpetuate the Sowa Rigpa, the ancient Tibetan system of medicine, astronomy and astrology. It is possible to make your own horoscope. The museum displays instructive thangka (Tibetan paintings on cloth), and the minerals and plants used. Foreigners who stay for several weeks can take courses.
