This community center has set up several initiatives: meetings of Zanskar villages (bringing women together to share their ideas); handicraft workshops (Handicrafts Skills Workshops and the Traditional Ladakhi Skills Workshop); medical camp in Zanskar (in collaboration with the Swiss association Rigzen-Zanskar); festival of traditional cultures. The center even provides advice on how not to be a "parasite" tourist.
