Mumbai International Airport, also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, is the city of Mumbai's main airport. Air India ticket counters are located on the departures level, near gates 4 and 5. Air India check-in desks are located in aisle E for domestic flights and in aisle F for international flights. First class, executive and Star Gold passengers have their own check-in counters. For domestic flights, passengers are advised to check in at least two hours before departure time to avoid delays due to overcrowding at security checkpoints. Check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure time for all classes of passenger. For international flights, check-in counters open four hours before departure time and close 60 minutes before departure time for all classes of passengers. The arrivals hall has a baggage services desk to help passengers with all baggage matters. The transit area is located on level 2 of the terminal building. Travelers can use the free inter-terminal shuttle that runs every half-hour. Prepaid cabs and limousines can be booked at the airport. Private cabs are also available outside the airport. The airport offers a wide range of services for a hassle-free journey, including free luggage carts, baby strollers, childcare facilities, currency exchange, banks and ATMs, lounges, free Wi-Fi, international SIM cards, luggage packing services, prayer/meditation rooms, parking lots, transit hotels, restaurants and beverages, postal services, smoking areas and toilets. Travelers in certain classes can also access domestic and international lounges and enjoy services such as comfortable seating, hot meals, snacks, a salad bar, freshly brewed coffee/tea, a fine selection of beverages, newspapers and magazines.
