Founded in 1932, Cafe Mondegar is one of the oldest cafes in the city. It was the first to have a jukebox in Bombay! Since 1990, the walls are decorated by the famous Goan artist, Mario Miranda. His drawings representing scenes of life are famous in the whole country. The place is nice and you can eat there at any time. There is a large choice of snacks and dishes from all over the world. One room is air-conditioned, the other is not. The youth and the artists of the city meet here to chat over a coffee or a beer.

A éviter..

Crowded restaurant with international music. Even beef is eaten, but shrimp dishes are more local. Great variety of beers. We offer souvenir postcards with decorative drawings. The restaurant also sells beer and t-shirts to its logo. Very nice for a relaxing evening!
