2 suburban beaches linked by a rocky promontory, 1 of which is lined with palm trees and hotels, the other more downmarket
Both are excellent and safe suburban beaches connected by a rocky headland. The barge at Gorai Creek looks like a jewfish, but it's solid and in service. Manori Beach, a 10-minute auto-rickshawride away, is lined with swaying palm trees and a row of hotels. Nearby Gorai Beach is more down-market. Its rental cabanas are usually occupied by groups of picnickers. The sand is relatively clean and the water tempting.
