Also known as Sunrise Point, it is within walking distance of the city center, the highest point at 1,415 m above sea level. On a large plateau, three round platforms invite you to contemplate sunrise (or sleep). You are advised for platform No. 2. In addition, you can visit the abandoned residence of the Governor "Boy" Malacolm.

You will find coffee peddlers and teas, very pleasant early in the morning.
For the sunset, no vendors.
You can go up (including descending) on foot (1/2 hour's walk) Mahalbeshwar.
After sunset, cross the market at the entrance of Mahalabeshwar.
