ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE

For the past thirty years, the Alliance française de Goa has been trying to maintain a privileged relationship with the Goanese by offering French language courses, but also theater, music and cooking classes. The French language, recognized in the 19th century in literary, educational, legal and scientific circles as a scholarly language, has gradually disappeared in favor of English. However, many Indian students attend this institution assiduously and the efforts of the Alliance seem to be rewarded today.
