Typical Portuguese residence in Chandor's main square, divided into two separate wings
Located in the main square of Chandor, this typical 17th century Portuguese period house is one of the best preserved colonial houses in the state. The house is separated into two distinct wings, one belonging to the Menezes-Braganza family, the other to the Pereira-Braganza family. One of the oldest libraries in Goa, beautiful candlesticks, period furniture, Chinese porcelain and other trinkets from a bygone era can be admired here.
