FIO is committed to Southern India with experienced local ngos, rooted in reality and close to the population. They support the education and care of the most disadvantaged children (street children, disabled children, AIDS, Dalits), encourage the training and support of 10 000 women's groups of women living below the poverty line through micro-credits. Finally, they participate in a rainwater management project and the construction of hydraulic installations (reservoirs, wells) in arid rural areas.
