The Chittaranjan Palace, built for the princess of Mysore, has been tastefully restored and transformed into an "ethical" hotel, which donates all its profits to NGOs and environmental projects in India. The rooms are equipped with fans, but no air conditioning, in order to respect the environment. The flowered garden and the terraces allow you to stroll in the fresh air. The bar serves beer and even Indian champagne. Our favorite in Mysore, for sure. The only problem is that the hotel is a bit out of the way and needs to be transported.
