RAJA'S SEAT
A small garden to be visited for the beautiful view it offers or for the sunset, a popular spot with tourists and the kings of yesteryear
According to the legend, the kings of Kodagu came to walk in gallant company in the evening in this small garden... Probably to contemplate the sunsets which, here, are really grandiose. Nowadays, tourists have replaced the kings and on weekends or during vacations the crowd can disturb the tranquility. There are street vendors near the entrance of the park. The view from this small promontory is absolutely wonderful, but it is often drowned in the legendary Kodagu mist.
