Sanctuary home to nocturnal lippus bears, which emerge at the end of the day and can be seen from the platform
Daroji Sanctuary is home to a large population of lippus bears, like Baloo in The Jungle Book. With a pair of binoculars, you're likely to see one from the viewing platform. The best time to see them is at the end of the day when the park rangers drop off food to bring the bears out of their dens. The method is questionable, but it is the only way to allow tourists to observe this nocturnal animal.
