Ashram dedicated to Sri Narayana Guru with a bookshop selling various Malayam works, a memorial with a statue of the saint
Headquarters of the Sri Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust, the ashram is dedicated to Sri Narayana Guru (1854-1928), whose followers, the ezhava, form a large group of the population of Kerala. Guru preached the doctrine of "one caste, one religion, one God for mankind" and won many followers among the lower castes. Thousands of followers visit the Mutt every year. The bookstore sells many books in Malayalam and some pamphlets in English about the saint. A memorial contains a statue of him meditating.
