A well documented place where the welcome is warm. You will be given a brochure on the different cruises available as well as information on accommodation. You can buy tickets for the ferry to Alappuzha. It is also a good place to book a houseboat cruise, the prices being lower than those of the private companies. It is also the pier for the local ferry (every 90 minutes or so). Many excursions are offered, especially to the Jatayu Earth's Centre.
