Chennai Tourist Office, where organized excursions are sold, including a half-day bus tour of the city
They sell organized tours, including a half-day bus tour of Chennai. The tour starts at St. George's Fort and goes to the Egmore Museum, Valluvar Kottam, Kapaleeswarar Temple and ends at Marina Beach. The museum being closed on Friday, the visit is replaced by the Planetarium. Some guides are not very good and so you can ask to change bus during the visit. Another agency is located in front of Chennai Central.
