It is possible to have a room for nine people. Booking recommended. This ideally located hotel near the sea is the oldest in Mamallapuram. The charming owner Mr Xavier is proud of this and provides a lot of information about the city. He opened it in 1986 when there was still no hotel in the corner! The rooms, painted in yellow and blue, have an exotic charm, as the floor is covered with mats and the roof is apparent. A three-bed room even has a terrace with a garden lounge: It's very nice to relax there. However, to avoid rooms on the ground floor, their maintenance is deplorable.
