The ever-jovial Apollo is always available to chat and provide valuable information about Mahabalipuram and the surrounding area. He is involved in many social activities, and once a year organizes a book festival for children from the village and surrounding area, giving them access to books. Participants can also give them vouchers to buy books. His wife has also recently started selling handcrafted jewelry at very reasonable prices.
