VIVEKANANDA ROCK MEMORIAL

This memorial is dedicated to Ramakrishna's most famous disciple, who advocated spirituality in the service of action. It is said that Swami Vivekananda sat in deep meditation on this rock, which is now housed in the memorial built in 1970. There is also a mandapam dhyana here where one can sit in a serene atmosphere and meditate. Be careful, during the crossing, avoid standing on the sides of the boat, because with the waves, you might arrive soaked.
