BLUE JAR

Just a stone's throw from the Plaza de la Constitucion, the Blue Jar is the place to be. White-tiled walls, a vast room in the center of which sits a dark wooden bar surrounded by tall, vintage chairs - that's the decor. The atmosphere is that of a popular canteen, a no-frills brasserie populated mainly by locals. When it comes to food, there's plenty to choose from: bagels, toast, sandwiches, empanadas, croquetas, burgers, lasagne, soups, grilled fish, beef fillets or salad, not forgetting the hearty "ounce" and desserts.
