IGLESIA DE SAN AGUSTÍN
Church built in 1609, destroyed in 1647 and rebuilt around 1656 with a neoclassical façade, two towers and a frontispiece.
Built in 1609 and already rebuilt in 1625, it was again destroyed by the earthquake of 1647. Rebuilt around 1656, it was restored with a neoclassical façade, two towers and a frontispiece. In 1863, Don Fermín Vivaceta gave him a new frontispiece and carved the portal with his own hands. Inside, you can admire the "Lord of May", nicknamed "Lord of May" for having resisted the earthquake of May 13, 1647. Only its crown of thorns was shaken to the point where it slipped at neck level.
