This museum, inaugurated in 2015, is dedicated to the artist and musician Violeta Parra, spearhead of the Nueva canción chilena of the 1960s, and exhibits the enormous artistic, social and cultural legacy that the famous Chilean left to her country. Through a rather successful scenography and a series of works of art (papier-mâché, paintings, burlap, etc.), you will take part in a sound and visual experience while discovering how Violeta Parra has succeeded in preserving the folklore and traditions of the working class and peasant world.
