TRAIN
To/from Santiago, choose the Metrotren (kind of local RER) that passes every hour. With a dozen stations, it is a means of economic and rapid transport: 1 hour of travel for $ 1 500 per person. The metrotren continues (8 times a day) towards San Fernando in the south: take 40 minutes of additional travel ($ 750 from Rancagua).
Southward: Once a day, the Metrotren continues to Curicó, Molina and Talca: he then took the name Expreso Maule. Departure at p. m. Rancagua for arrival at p. m. in Curicó, p. m. in Molina and p. m. in Talca. Return to 6 h 45 from Talca, 7 h 20 from Molina and 7 h 56 from Curicó for arrival in Rancagua and in Santiago (Alameda). $ 1 500 from Rancagua to Curicó or Molina, $ 2 000 towards Talca.
