As in many Chilean cities, there are small restaurants with generous and cheap cuisine in the central market. Unfortunately, the latter was affected by a major fire in April 2013. While waiting for its reconstruction (still not started in 2019), we can find some good picadas in the street next to the market.

Le marché recommence à accueillir de petits restaurants sympas dans la lignée de ce qui existait avant le tremblement de terre, il faut traverser les boutiques de façade pour arriver à l´intérieur du bâtiment. Bonne ambiance typique, encore peu touristique et bon marché.
