EL VERGEL DE ANGOL

This garden was founded in 1880 by Manuel Bunster, which grew many fruit plants, forest and ornamental plants and even Japanese gardens. Its museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. and from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. (pay entrance). It offers pretty collections of natural history and archeology. We also have to visit the Garden of Plants (especially in September or October, every day from 8:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. and from 2 p. m. to 6:30 p. m.), when more than one hundred species of camellias are flowering, more than eighty species of rhododendrons, tens and dozens of varieties of azaleas, and a large number of copiers.
