MUSEO REGIONAL DE LA ARAUCANÍA
Very interesting museum dedicated to Mapuche history and culture in Temuco, with many themed rooms.
A very interesting museum dedicated to Mapuche history and culture. Its thematic rooms feature artifacts and numerous testimonies to a culture that is still very much alive. Several rooms are also devoted to the history of the Araucanía conquest and the city of Temuco. The museum also focuses on the story of Chile's two Nobel Prize winners for literature, Gabriela Mistral and Pablo Neruda, which is linked to that of the city.
