Museum of the "Age of Steam", with exhibitions of over 40 locomotives on Avenida Ercilla and the adjoining square.
The museum is a living testimony to the technological revolution that marked the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. An impressive collection of locomotives that plied the country's railroads makes up, according to connoisseurs, the world's largest collection of locomotives. Most were used for agricultural, forestry or industrial tasks. You can also take a look at the old railway station, which used to be very busy when the train reached Temuco.
