This museum, dedicated to the history of Osorno and the region, includes the municipal library and a new tour circuit.
Created in 1946, the museum occupies a house built in 1929 by the Schilling Buschmann family. It is dedicated to the history of Osorno and the region (including the Mapuche culture). In 2014, the small museum was merged with the municipal library and now offers a new tour: through spaces and exhibition rooms, you will find stuffed animals telling the history of the country or samples of objects from the period of German colonization.
